Suddenly the USB part of the charger won't pair to any charging device ( I've even damaged one of my sockets trying to connect it). After comparing it to other USB cables, I can see that the part thing ( picture attached) is to high. I've tried pushing it down without any success. Any ideas, instead of buying a new one? Thanks

Are you sure?  Those chargers are commonly fail with one of the 4 pins getting depressed so not making contact to charge;  will probably have to buy replacement chargers anyway.  I suggest buying set of low-priced third-party chargers from Amazon.  Even if under warranty will get much quicker from Amazon than messing with warranty for reasonable price.
