Using "running" from the phone while running, doesn't show on the watch

 I was going for a run but wanted to use GPS so I started my run from my "phone" Fitbit app. However when I did that the status don't show up on my watch? So while running I would have to take out my phone to see my pace etc. Wouldn't the 2 be synced together? Like the watch should of known I was running from the app. Hope this makes sense

That is correct @qtpie, if you start the tin tracking from the phone, you will need to use the phone to view the real time stats. When you start the run tracking from the wrist, I assumed that is why one would purchase a Version, you will be able to view the real time stats on the wrist.

 

In short you want to use the run mode found on the Versa, not the Fitbit app.
