Hi. My Alexa doesn't work on my Versa 2. I'm from UK and bought it here yesterday. It doesn't even show on the fitbit apps, nothing. I contacted chat support and someone advised that I need to pay some amazon subscription in order for it to work?! I dont understand any of that. Please someone help.

OKAY, Here's what I did: I turned off the "automatic location" button and I guess it worked.
I just don't understand lady who advised me to pay for something to be able to get that! Weird...

Hi @pamelakurt94, welcome to the community.
Do you not see the Alexa tile when you open the fitbit app - tap your profile picture - and tap on Versa 2?
If not, I recommend going back to account, scrolling down to advanced settings and under select location make sure it says United Kingdom. Then log out of the app and then log back in again, check to see if you have the Alexa tile now. Also confirm that you have updated the Fitbit app to the latest version.

Exactly! I don't see it. I've got just 6 icons, and 7th which should be Alexa is not there. I also uninstalled the app and installed again.
And as I mentioned, someone from Fitbit explained that I need to pay some subscription... I don't understand 😞

I have the same problem, no Alexa icon. It worked the first few minutes, then it suddenly disappeared... I am from the Czech republic, is there no Alexa support for our country? That would be disappointing.

Desperately looking for help.
I've tried everything. Installing, uninstalling, changing locations (I'm in Canada) and still nothing.
I have 6 out of the 7, no Alexa icon.
Becoming very frustrated.... Any help would be great

I remember I have changed something in location setting, or even chosen different country and it worked. Try United Kingdom for a moment, maybe it’ll help.

In the Netherlands it is also not supported. I selected UK and it works. But hope that Google Assistant will be in Fitbit now Google is new owner of Fitbit. Because assistant I in Dutch

I just make it work.
go on your photo on your account in Fitbit - Personal - lokation
Canada is supported so put Canada
And then when you go on to Versa 2 Again your AmazonAlexa is there 😃

Worked for me also. I turned off location in settings (in fitbit), Then logged out, turn off the phone, Turned back on phone again, logged back in to fitbit. I then went to personal and set my location to Ireland, it worked. thanks for the help getting me started, your shorter version did't work for me.

This is indeed the best answer. I was also searching for this answer since July until just today that I finally found it. It’s so simple just turn off the “automatic location”. In your Fitbit app on your phone, click Account> Advance Settings> Toggle Off the Automatic Location and voila! The Alexa app icon shows up on your Fitbit app on your phone and then sync to your Versa 2 and Alexa also shows up there. From there you setup your Alexa and enjoy the ease of control of your gadgets.
