I can't express how disappointed I am today. I bought my versa 3 March 2021. It stopped swiping a few days ago, then not short after the battery started failing. It'll be fully charged and 4 to 6 hours later completely depleted. I didn't even wear it last night and it was dead this morning. Fitbit refuses to help saying the warranty has expired. Anyone else have this issue? Surely when you spent thousands of rands on a product you expect it to work for at least 2 years or receive some assistance from the manufacturer

I have the same issue with my Versa lite but now it has stopped charging altogether! I have contacted Fitbit on two occasions & I am supposedly waiting for a shipping address to send the watch back, it has now been 3 weeks. Very disappointed.

I am having similar issues. Firstly each time I’d go for a run it said sync your GPS too late when I’m ready to go. Now it won’t start the run no matter how much I tap and now tonight it’s completely out of battery again after 1 day. Purchased in Oct 2020. Will be contacting Fitbit tomorrow.

Crazy, I hope you come right, I bought mine in March 2021 and they are saying it's out of warranty and refuse to do anything further. They suggested I look at their other Fitbit products. There is not a chance in hell that I will buy another Fitbit. I posted my issues on my social media and so far 7 friends have come back saying they've had the same issue.

My husband bought this for me for Christmas and it is the worse! After a month, I began having problems, now the battery doesn't stay charged for more than 1 day, doesn't swipe up and no notifications when I am getting a phone call, horrible!

Around 18 months old but it was a replacement for a Fitbit charge which also stopped working after 12 months.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Their service leaves a lot to be desired. I'm definitely going to discourage anyone from purchasing a Fitbit. I hope that they'll at least give you a replacement

That's just insane!!! They charge a small fortune for a tracker that doesn't last longer than 24 months. Please let me know if they replace this one for you or not. I hope they do for your sake 🙂

Similar situation, I won’t spend another dime on Fitbit. Currently looking at Apple vs. Garmin

The problem isn’t so much Fitbit, but the laws of your countries. Demand better consumer protection laws from your politicians. Consumer guarantees act in New Zealand makes companies responsible for the product for the expected lifetime of the product, they are not allowed to replace a faulting product with a refurbished unit unless that is what you originally brought. So much can be done to force these companies to better practices when the politicians implement better consumer protection laws, so that is where you are better off demanding change.

Mine works for 1 year and 6 months. Battery is busted and not charging anymore. Called Fitbit for assistance. All troubleshooting were done but to no avail. Unit can't be replaced because it's out of warranty. Fitbit in return gave me a 35% discount promo code incase I'll get a new one. Now I'm confused if I'll get a new one or not. LOL.
