I have had the Fitbit for over 3 weeks now and workout daily. I am now on the verge of selling the Fitbit and going back to apple....So I run with my phone now (as my correct time does not show without the map), but only once has it connected to the GPS, the rest of the time it just says connecting the whole time and no map pulls through.... and then when I check the time under calories or heart rate, the time is not right. The stats shown on the watch when you end an exercise are not the same in the app. And my exact time is important as I am training for something and I need it to be accurate. I now have to take a photo of the stats on my watch in order to get the correct information - I mean really! This is super frustrating and something I should not have to do. I also do not get notifications on the watch... sometimes it works then it doesn't work for a while... then one message will come through then it stops working again. Fitbit was recommended because it's apparently more focused on fitness, but I feel like I have made the biggest mistake moving from apple as simple things just don't seem to work on the watch. Any advice would be appreciated!

Since your asking about a phone issue @Dewk. may I ask which phone?
Have you checked permissions, on android a simple restart, which needs to be done weekly anyway, seems to fix the gps issue.

@Rich_Laue I got the new Huawei P30 lite....
I did set up all the permissions but maybe I missed something? Why does an android phone need to be restarted weekly? Sorry I'm so new to Android.

Android still has a major memory management issues and tends to lock the memory rather than releasing when an app is closed.
The only way to clear this locked memory is by restarting the phone.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. Thank you for letting me know. Will definitely try this.
