VERSA OS update - nightmare to all users. pls do not update to latest OS 32.70.8.0

I just did my update as app keeps prompting & frustrates by taking half of screen space. I gave up & pressed update button. 

 

Now can't pair or sync with Versa. 

 

@AmyFitbit @Fitbit @DelFitbit could you pls don't nag users to update. When can we have fix?

Thank you for posting this. I came here to see if updating will turn my versa into even more of a brick than it already is, now I see that it will!!! I wish I had some answers for your problem, but I’m lucky if I can waste a crazy amount of time to get my fitbit to sync at all, it hasn’t been able to stay connected to WiFi for months so that destroys using the gps functions. It’s so frustrating because these things cost so much! I feel your pain.

I was doing ok, until I tried to change the watch face to a 3rd party one and it died on me. Now doing a factory reset will try and live with a fitbit one for now and see if it works.

 

I had major problems with previous firmware and the only thing that fixed it was using a fitbit face and changing my bluetooth avrcp setting.

Finally it's working after @Fitbit @DelFitbit @AmyFitbit team fixed it. 

 

@Ceri_H @JV2626  hope yours is working too.
