I tried to do the newest software update couple days ago, but it failed twice - I thought it was about slow internet connection because I was travelling. Versa did not sync at all after those failed attempts. I have OnePlus 5 phone with Android version 9.
Today at home I tried to do the update again with Wi-Fi, and it failed several times (didn't find the device at all or lost bluetooth connection halfway through etc.) I followed the troubleshooting path and finally it seemed that the update would download. (I removed Versa from Fitbit app and from my phone's paired bluetooth devices & restarted the watch and paired it again). Download was at 3/3 state for long, but then I again got announcement that update failed. Now when I check the firmware version, it is 32.33.1.30, but only half of the information gets synced. The app gives me pop ups that I need to link my Versa to the phone and occasionally that update failed. (Download symbol for update is gone though).
So what do I need to do next to get all my stats synced? Currently I only get steps and that part of calories that doesn't come through exercise app. And how the heck this can be so time taking and complicated? Not exactly the way I want to spent my Christmas holidays.

Hi, put your Versa in the charger and connect it to PC/Laptop and leave it there for at least 2 to 3 hours, maybe that will solve your problem. Good luck.

My Versa was in the charger the whole time I tried to update (battery wasn't low, I just put it in to the charger because the update instructions said so).

Hi, the reason for my suggestion is that if you do that, the update, which you described as not completed, gets the time to be completed. In this way the Today screen problems were also solved by doing that. It's up to you.

Since this update my versa's battery lasts less than 20 hours. I have reset it many times, charge it with a different charger and the same result

I'm having the issue of nothing syncing at all but ik its connected because when I get calls it shows on my fitbit

I am having same problem. The latest update, i am not able yo go an entire day without havibg to boost charge
