Vera 3 not holding a charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Starting yesterday, my versa 3 Fitbit will not hold a charge more than a few hours. It drains by 50% in about 4 to 5 hours. I haven’t changed any of the settings, and this happened overnight last night. I don’t use the GPS feature, and I can’t figure out how to turn automatic syncing off. This is so frustrating. It was working just fine yesterday. I didn’t change anything, so it was obviously something Fitbit did. Please fix it back!

Hi @JanH59 - if the watch is fine try logging out of the Fitbit App and turn off Bluetooth.

With the watch display on hold the watch button for 10 seconds till the display blanks or it vibrates, release and wait for the logo to appear and it to start.

Charge fully and see how it discharges. Just possibly a clock face change may also help if it continues to discharge quickly, long gentle press on the watch face to change clock face, or reconnect and do it in the app.

Lastly to check if there is a software corruption causing short battery autonomy a factory reset may be necessary. But be careful there is a risk it fails. If started wait 5 minutes before setting it up again.

I have been having the same problem with mine holding a charge. I have reset it cleaned the charging ports and nothing works. It selectively records my sleep data some days it collects and some days it doesn't. If I'm not in a deep sleep it won't even register the sleep period. It doesn't feel reliable anymore. Sad part is a lot of people are having problems after this last update.
