Versa 1. GPS went from marginally OK to absolutely useless

I have a Versa 1 running version 32.72.1.9

The Fitbit app on my phone is version 3.39.2

My phone is running android version 11

 

You can see from the screen shots how badly the GPS functionality has become.

So...is this watch just dead as far as GPS goes?
