Versa 1 is slow to use after latest update

Hello,

 

I updated my Versa 1 a while ago to the latest FitbitOS update, and it was very slow - to the point where it took a couple of seconds for the watch face to even show when I pressed the side button. I tried a factory reset on that watch, but it completely bricked the watch.

 

I've just set up my replacement watch and updated it to the latest firmware again, and it's showing the same thing. It's really slow to use, things like swiping across app pages and swiping down from the top for notifications seem really choppy.

 

I just wanted to know if anyone else was having these issues and if there was any way to speed up my Versa. Seems odd that a 2-3 year old smartwatch would be doing this.
