I recently got a versa 2 , installed the App on my iPhone and all looked good. Seems to track heart rate very well, I compared to chest strap results whilst on X-trainer and the results were very close. I like the sleep analysis too, so all good .... except there is one major issue with Active Minutes.
I use the MayMyRide app to track bike rides, I have this syncing to MyFitnessPal which in turn I've synced to the FitBit app.
So from Myfitnesspal I see summaries of calories consumed in the FitBit app and I also get the data from Mapmyride, which includes time, duration and average BPM, which presumably is measured by the Versa.. Selecting an exercise entry also gives me a breakdown of BPM over time and a bar chart showing time in each zone. This suggests the sync is working correctly.
For example, this morning over 1:26 mins I had 2 mins in peak, 37 Mins in Cardio and 40 Mins in Fatburn.and 7 below zone - this matches a break I took, so I had at least two contiguous periods in excess of 10 mins when the activity count should have updated.
In Summary, it looks like all the data is there but the FitBit App is not using it to update active minutes when it should. I can't see anything I can do to make this work so my conclusion is that there is a software bug.
Happy to be corrected and have suggestions to resolve!

Hmm, I've just noticed a syncing issue with MyFitnessPal, it's no longer updating Food. Looking at the various syncing issues threads here and the lack of any fixes I'm beginning to think I should have just paid a bit more and got an Apple watch.
I'll give Strava a go to see if that helps with the the active minutes being recorded correctly, if not I'll return this as faulty (doesn't function as advertised) and get my money back
