Versa 2 Alarm Goes off at Midnight

I read the posts regarding this issue, and mine is definitely an alarm and not related to my goals.  The screen says "Look Alive" and goes off again in 9 minutes if not dismissed.  I reset the Versa 2 to factory settings and that didn't help.  I have reset it back to factory settings, removed and reinstalled it in the app.  That worked for one week and it went off this morning again.  I have no alarms set what so ever at this time.

It sounds like you've got Reminders to Move turned on. Try turning that off. Also, have you set Sleep Mode on? If that's on, you can set a time for notifications to not come through. Good luck.

Nope that’s not it. It definitely was the silent alarm. It’s been remedied for now. No real answer has been given for the behavior by Fitbit staff.

I’m not alone now! Mine goes off at 10:30 every night. I’ve tried everything as well that was mentioned with no luck also.

Did you by chance have a different Fitbit before this one? I have a theory that I haven’t tested. The phantom alarm has reverted to the one I had set on my Flex2 at 6AM on weekdays.

I wonder if I re-pair the Flex 2 and clear that alarm if it wouldn’t fix it.

My Versa2  just started the same behavior with the alarm going off at midnight. Like you, I've shut off all alarms.

Did you get yours to stop? What did you do?

No but the phantom alarm changed to 6AM weekdays. Did you have a different Fitbit before this one? I have a theory that the alarm I set on my flex 2 carried over to the Versa

Yes, I had a Blaze, but I deleted it from the app around September when I got the Versa 2. I didn't experience the phantom 12am alarm until about two weeks ago.

Like you, I've factory reset the Versa 2, deleted the app, reinstalled and synced the device. No phantom alarms for about a week, and the 12am alarm started again.

So infuriating when I'm having issues falling asleep, and especially getting back to sleep once I wake up during the night. I like tracking my sleep, but due to this I'm not even wearing it to bed any longer.

Could you set alarms on the app with the Blaze? My theory is if you have an alarm set on a device that you remove, it stays on the Fitbit server. No idea why it uses midnight though. If you still have the Blaze, I would try removing the Versa2 add the Blaze then check the app for an alarm. If you find one clear it from the app and then remove the Blaze and add the Versa.

I was going to try that but I was gifted an Apple Watch and started using it.

I’m so glad I found this post because I have been having the same problems. No alarms whatsoever saved and my Fitbit alarm goes off at 6:20am every morning. I have had to stop wearing it to bed but can hear it vibrating on the bedside table. I just figured out how to fix it! I held the left button (for alexa) and when I did a tiny icon appeared in the upper right corner that looks like a clock face. When I clicked on that it took me to a screen that said alexa had a 6:20am alarm set every day! I must have asked her for an alarm  at some point and forgot or maybe it was a glitch, but I turned it off! I also held the button and said “cancel all alarms” just to make sure, and she said “canceling all alarms”. Hopefully this helps you too, I have been so frustrated.

Checking Alexa did not work for me, my alarm goes off at 3:31am every day, called Fitbit, they had me change some settings, it worked for a few days but it's  back.....any other ideas?

I went into my old Fitbit on the app and deleted all the alarms on that
device I'm no longer using. Then I deleted the device and factory reset my
Fitbit. I had no alarm this morning!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!  I also have been struggling with an alarm that has been going off at 430am on my Versa2.  I did a reset of the device but alarm continued going off and was driving me crazy!  I had no idea I had set an alarm with Alexa.  🙏 so much!  I can wear my Fitbit to bed again! ALOHA!

I had an alarm that went off every Wednesday @ 5am. I deleted all of my alarms. Sure enough I saw your reply & went to Alexa...lo and behold, I had an alarm set. Just deleted. THANK YOU!

New Versa 2 user - transferred over from an Inspire.

I set up my alarms, however they are not going off when I have them scheduled and some are going off when i DID NOT schedule them.  There are no alarms set via Alexa (checked).  My alarms are set up below:

8a

1030a

1230p

3p

530p

730p

An alarm went off at 730a (and NO - i did NOT accidentally put am instead of pm), and my 8a alarm did NOT go off at all.

There is NO WAY to set silent alarms up in the app - this is a total miss on fitbits part!!  So whoever keeps recommending you go there to check alarms - is wasting our time!
