Versa 2 Battery and HR

Last week all the sudden my battery is only lasting 1-2 days instead of the normal 5-6 days and the HR monitoring stopped working, no green light in the back or anything. Tried some restart/reconnect options I found online and it's still not working. Any thoughts? I've had it for 4 years, thought I'd get another year or 2 out of it before replacing it.

Hi @NyssArt - it has most likely suffered a fault. Common symptoms for water damage.

Check it doesn't get hot while charging and if so stop immediately.

But try the following, check HR is turned on in the watch settings, and if so, toggle off/on and restart the watch.

Try with the phone Bluetooth turned off (except for syncing) for a few days as syncing issues in the new V4 Fitbit App can cause battery drain. You won't get any notifications though.

Lastly a factory reset is required if HR still not working, which isn't without risk and there is little hope of success.

If you still have the old V3 Fitbit app it's possible a replacement Versa 2 can be found quite cheaply and may be the quickest resolution, though do research into the competition before purchasing anything, a lot has changed from other brands in 4 years.
