Versa 2 - Calorie calculation now 10x higher than before the Fitbit OS 4.2 update

Calorie calculation is just an estimate - I understand that but my most recent workout shows it is WAY off. I've never burned 4 digit calories in a 60-minute weight session, of any intensity. I don't expect fitbit to be 100% accurate but consistency is helpful.

Sept 1 - Weights workout - Almost 120 minutes

  • 431 Calories burned
  • 94 avg bpm

Sept 22 - Weights workout - About 60 minutes

  • 2022 calories burned!!!
  • 106 avg bpm

Thanks for including the 2 screen caps.  One thing to check is your weight.  If it somehow got entered way too high, that would calculate into higher calorie burn.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

JohnnyRow - You are a genius. I did fix a weight recording that was one decimal too many that same day. I didn't realize they would be related.
