Versa 2-Can't install private app through a tablet

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I've created a private application for a Versa 2 band and I have already uploaded it to the Fitbit Gallery. I managed to install it with a mobile phone without problems but I need to install it through a tablet (the band needs to be paired with the tablet).

The tablet model is: Galaxy Tab A 2016.

Is it possible? How can I fix this?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @gatv_upm.

Congrats on your new private app. Thank you for the information provided.

If your Galaxy Tab A 2016 has OS 7.0 or higher you should be able to install and manage apps on your Fitbit Versa 2 without problems. For more information about compatibility, please visit this site.

Please make sure to remove your watch from the list of Bluetooth devices on your mobile phone before syncing to the tablet.

Whether you continue having difficulties, you can set up your watch as a replacement device using your tablet:

  1. Tap the Today tab Fitbit logo, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

See you around.
