Versa 2 Charger - WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?

So far, I like my Versa 2. Not jumping up and down yet, only had it a week and still working out the kinks.

One thing I HATE IS YOUR CHARGER! 

Who the HELL designed your new charger and what the hell were they thinking? It is a PATHETIC design. 

The plug comes out of the bottom, making it "interesting" when you charge the watch. 

The charger, if you call it as such, is even WORSE, you have to maneuver your watch just right just to charge and with the cord on the bottom dead center, finding a place to "hold it steady" is just as bad.

Yes, this is like "the New Coke" of the fitness watch industry.  Perhaps even worse, the Versa 2 won't work with the original Versa charging dock, which actually sits properly on my desk, because the cord comes out of the back -- you know, an intelligent design that actually works?  I'm sorry, but I just won't put up with nonsense like this, so I returned my Versa 2 the next day.  Rubbish.  Garbage.  Pitiful nonsense.

And then I've heard about how Fitbit has been trying to sell itself to some other company, just a few days after releasing the Versa 2.  "I am looking elsewhere" to bail out of the whole Fitbit infrastructure, completely.

I read that it is their bank that is trying to get Fitbit sold to Google.

If you dropped the watch into the charger, then closed the band, would that work?

I've seen an image online that seems to suggest this option works, can't upload the image though.

While I agree the design of the charger for the Versa 2 and Versa Lite is ridiculous, just lay it on its side when chatging.

I made a small loop with the cable to keep it from laying on its side.
