I just got a Versa 2 and am having a problem setting up Alexa because when it keeps registering the device to the wrong person. Specifically, it is saying it belongs to my husband. I do sometimes use my spouse's account, but want the device to be registered to me and my Amazon account.
After I connect to Amazon through the Fitbit app, I discovered when opening the Alexa app on my phone and looking at "devices," it says the Fitbit is registered to "Husband's Name" rather than my name.
I de-registered it, but am having no luck getting it set up correctly. On the Amazon Alexa screen in the app, there is a button that just says, "Login with Amazon." It then connects automatically. It is not giving me the option to enter my Amazon login information so I have no idea how I can get it to login to my account rather than my spouses. Help!

Whether you are still having the same issue, please go to www.amazon.com, log out from your husband's account and login to yours. Then, please follow the instructions on this article.
If necessary, you can remove the Versa 2 from your account, log out from your husband's Amazon account, login to yours and set up back your Versa 2 as a replacement watch.

Having a similar problem and discovered that I also needed to make sure I was logged out of my wife's Amazon Prime video account on my phone. It then connected to the correct account.

My problem is the opposite. I want to connect to my sister's home alexa but the alexa on my versa 2 and on my fitbit app keeps connecting to my own amazon account. I guess my question is how can I use my versa 2 to talk to a different alexa account

To try to resolve the issue, please follow the next steps:
- Visit www.amazon.com and log out from your account
- Visit this article, open the menu "How do I disconnect my voice assistant?" and follow the instructions
- Try to connect to your sister's home Alexa by following the steps in this article in the menu "How do I set up a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?".
