I’ve seen a few posts by people discussing the issue of their Fitbit counting steps whilst driving though these appear to be down to the windy ot bumpy road conditions. I routinely commute the same 200 mile leg and my Fitbit is recording this as an additional 7500 steps! The roads taken are 90% motorway and apart from approximately 10 miles of the journey it’s very smooth. The steps continue to climb consistently throughout the journey so it’s not just this 10 miles that’s having this impact.
I’d rather not have to delete the relevant data as some posts have suggested as this makes what should be an automatic process now manual alongside having to continually remember to perform this action. This appears to have been an issue for some time now on the Versa range alone so seems bizarre that an automatic solution hasn’t been found?
