Versa 2 Does not appear to turn on

I just received my Versa 2. I opened the box and immediately placed it in the charging cradle. The Fitbit logo appears on the screen after a couple of minutes, but does not seem to charge. I have attempted to reset the device but nothing. I left it in the charging cradle overnight and plugged in, this morning still nothing. It does not seem to sync with my Fitbit app either. Any suggestions?

Hi @jelliott523  it's not a good idea to leave it charging all night. Why not get with customer support. Their phone number is (877)623-4997, if you're in the USA. Thanks, I figured the device would have to be charged to work, I'm thinking I may have received a defective Versa.

Turns out I received a faulty device. The item was replaced and the replacement is working properly.
