Versa 2 Doesn't Last

I really like the Versa and Versa 2 but am extremely disappointed with how long they last. I am on my third Versa in 3 years and am wondering if others have had the same issues I have had.

I purchased my first Versa in October 2018, it quit working in November 2019. As it was over the one year warranty I was out of luck, I was offered a discounted price to purchase another Versa through Fitbit but I would have had to wait for it to be shipped. I was able to purchase a Versa 2 for the same price Fitbit offered for the Versa at Best Buy which I did. I also purchased a 2 year Geek Squad extended warranty for $39 00.

Now just over 13 months my Versa 2 has quit working, same as the previous Versa. I spoke with Fitbit customer service but did not feel I received much help. So I returned my Versa 2 to Best Buy for a refund which I will receive through the Geek Squad  2 year  extended warranty once they receive the returned fitbit.  I have now purchased my third Versa 2 and again purchased a 2 year Geek Squad extended warranty, this time for $34.99.

I am hopeful that I will be three times lucky and will get more than 13 months out of this watch!

I have owned other Fitbit trackers and  watches since at least 2015 and have loved them all (I lost one and gave one away when I purchased my first Versa), but I am extremely frustrated with the short lifespan of the Versa line.  My husband has had an Ionic for going on 4 years and has absolutely no problems what so ever.

I am afraid I will have to look at another brand of fitness watch if this third Versa 2 does not last.

My first one also lasted 13 months, also got a discounted replacement back in August 2020. It died a month ago so only a few months old. Been getting very slow responses from FitBit. Mailed it back the week of Christmas and still nothing. Very frustrating and disappointing. Love the FitBit but geez .....
