Versa 2 Fitbit App Update is Just Awful!!

I just updated my Versa 2 Fitbit last night (March 20, 2021).  I am sooooo annoyed because now I do not have Active Minutes as an option anymore.  Instead I get Active Zone minutes.  I NEED the active minutes for my employee wellness program.  How am I supposed to monitor my active minutes if I don't have this as an option?????  I sure hope the active minutes still sync to the wellness website my employer uses.  Highly upset.  Who came up with this idea anyway??  I already have a case open with Fitbit regarding this but the first tier support people usually are not very sophisticated with resolving complex issues.  PLEASE fix soon.  Who made this decision to do away with the active minutes anyway?  I only received my new Versa 2 fit bit on March 14th & I already major problems.  Fitbit is a disappointment.

@JKRD   There are other users who have posted comments about employee wellness programs and Fitbit's switch to zone minutes.  Is there a way to look at your wellness account data and see what is being transferred to your account?  Here is my reason.  One of the tiles on the web dashboard is called the Activity Goals tile.  It is the one that looks like the phone app, but shows active minutes.  My web dashboard shows the right number of active minutes and it will always be different from zone minutes.  I can tell this because I know how active minutes and zone minutes are calculated.

Here's my example from yesterday -- My 50 minute walk gave me 28 zone minutes on my phone app.  My web dashboard shows 45 active minutes for that same walk.  When I look at my heart rate graph, 45 active minutes is the correct number.

So check with your wellness program and see if information is going to your account.

@JKRD   I am moving your post to the Other Versa Smartwatches forum.  Your issue is related to the Versa firmware update, not the iOS app.

Hey there LZ.  Are you a mind reader...LOL!  I just compared my phone app to the web app just before I checked back on this forum.  Most of my active minutes were zone minutes as well so yes, the active minutes did post correctly on the web version of the app.  I did not check the heart app but can do that for further verification.  Since I walk pretty briskly I do believe the zone minutes to be correct.

The next task will be to see if the zone minutes transfer to the employee health website correctly.  If they do then I should be OK.  Nothing like a brisk walk to help one think clearly.

On a final note, you have been by far the MOST helpful person to help & give concrete solutions for my issue.  I was beyond exasperated!!  If you do not already work for Fitbit you should🙂.  They need helpful individuals such as yourself.  I cannot thank you enough for reaching out to help.  I will let you know how the data transfers to my wellness account.  Have a great day & thanks again!!
