When I click on a walk in the exercise mode it's not connecting to give me a map of my route.. any ideas

@KatieD1955 I used to have a Versa2 and I know is has no GPS on board. Therefore it uses the GPS of your phone. So you have to keep your phone nearby, and maybe you might check your settings on phone and Versa.
I never had problems with it using an Android Phone, but I know there were problems when using an iPhone. (It has to do with staying connected via bluetooth and keeping an app on the background.) I can ask my grandson if needed.
