Versa 2- HR monitor not working

The heart rate monitor on my Versa 2 stopped working on Feb 24th (11 days ago). There is no recording of heart rate on the watch or in the app and the green lights on the sensor do not turn on. The heart rate sensor is turned on. I have looked through previous threads and tried the following troubleshooting steps with no resolution

  • Turn heart rate monitor off/ back on
  • Forced shut down from button on the left side (hold for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears)
  • Shut down from watch (settings- about- shut down)
  • Charge until 100% battery
    • Turn heart rate monitor off/ back on
    • Forced shut down from button on the right side (hold for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears)
    • Shut down from watch (settings- about- shut down)
  • Disconnect & resync with app
    • Turn heart rate monitor off/ back on
    • Forced shut down from button on the right side (hold for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears)
    • Shut down from watch (settings- about- shut down)
  • Factory Reset (settings- about- factory reset)

I have tried all the above steps in multiple different combinations over a span of 4 days with no resolution and the green lights on the sensor do not turn on.

Did you make an update on that date? B\c my HR monitor went off right after the update, around this date.

I have the exact problem.  I’m frustrated because customer service has you go through all the troubleshooting that you mentioned and then in the end just says it’s out of warranty, here’s a discount code for a new one.  There has got to be something going on with the software side.

I did not push an update. I checked in the app to see if an update was available as part of my troubleshooting steps, but I was up to date. Have you been able to get your HR monitor to start working again?

I tried chatting with customer service twice with no response & no response from Fitbit on this thread either. Disappointed overall with the level of support.
