Versa 2 Heart rate monitor has stopped working.

Hello Folks

Over the past week the heart rate monitor on my Versa 2 has stopped working, no green light etc.  I’ve tried restarting it several times.  At first it would come on for a short period of time then go off again, now it will not come on at all.  I bought this Versa less than a year ago.  Anyone else having similar problems?, I’ve a feeling the latest update has effected it, but cannot be sure.

Hi yes having same problem. Not even 8 months old . Thinking of moving to another tracking device . This is my third Fitbit in as many years

Hi, I've got exactly the same issue. Stopped working last Thursday. Tried restarting, factory reset. It hadls once after a restart worked, but it lasted less than 2 mins.

Can we uninstall the latest update?

Updated mine to the latest firmware on August 6, and now having the same issue - Versa appears to be completely dead.  Just talked to the Tech Support line, their thought is that it's a battery issue.  Too coincidental for me, especially considering the similar results seen here after this latest firmware update.

I haven’t contacted tech support yet. I’ll let you know how I get on. I’ve no issues with the battery, Fitbit is less than a year old

I have had the same issue for the last 3 months.  I have also tried to restart the device multiple times.  There doesn't seem to be any help on the Fitbit web site.  I don't think has anything to do with the latest update as I have had issues since May.

It can't be a battery thing...it HAS to have been from their latest update.  Mine was working fine until I had that update.  Grrr

Okay went through a factory reset with the tech support people this morning, requiring removing and reinstalling the Versa 2 .  So far so good heart rate monitor up and running 👍😁

I also did the factory reset and reinstall as directed by tech support. It worked temporarily but again is not working correctly.

So after the reset working initially, the heart rate monitor has stopped again. Contacted support- as my Versa was within warranty they offered to replace it FOC or 50% off a newer model
