I started the hiking app at the beginning of the trail, as well as our regular tracker AllTrails.
When we finished, the Versa showed nearly 4-1/2 miles; AT was correctly at 4.0.
No way can the Fitbit be off by this much! I'm dismayed at this result for a brand new watch. (note I used the swimming app this week and it was spot on.) Wondering if I did something way wrong in starting the exercise app.
The Fibit app seems to only show total mileage for the day. Is there a way to confirm what the device indicates for the hiking portion? Also, I don't see anywhere it logged pace, HR, or any other data. Where should it be displayed? What should we be able to see for the hiking app?
Okay, found the stats in the app for the hike. Now the only remaining issue is the distance, being wildly off by nearly 1/2 mile. Is there a way to calibrate the device or check for accuracy? My way old first gen Fitbit from 6 years ago was never this bad. What do you suggest?
Thanks...
