Versa 2 No sleep score

Hi all,

i am new to the Fitbit world and just purchased the versa 2 I was intrigued by the sleep score. I wore it to bed last night woke up and synced it but there was no score only showed data for R.E.M., deep and light sleep. I have searched and read so many forums I seem to find some that says yes it is part of the app or no its part of the new premium subscription..  my welcome email clearly says all heart rate monitors come with a sleep score.. am I doing something wrong? Even in settings in the app the only option to turn on/off is sleep insights. I've uninstalled, the app, restarted the watch and still nothing..I'm running on iOS 13 so,that shouldn't be an issue. Can someone tell me yes the sleep score is standard and how to access it or no fitbit has now put that as part of their premium service.. thank you

It auto-detects. My versa 2 worked perfectly for about 10 days, then stopped. There are a million little things that I and folks have tried on the user end to correct this issue—wrist location, dominant/non-dominant wear, changing the detector to “sensitive,” resetting the watch and starting over — nothing’s worked for most people, from what I can tell.

Unfortunately, I’ll be returning mine. Maybe in the future if the issue is resolved, I’ll try it again. But I’m very disappointed, and this whole issue has kind of left me with a bad impression of Fitbit in general. As far as I can tell, no one at Fitbit has acknowledged this as anything other than a user issue, so nothing is being done to correct it. If anyone out there has heard otherwise, please let me know. Thanks!

I was getting sleep score and more detailed  results the last few day, no longer getting that.

Yep. That seems to be the issue for many people, including me.

I was reading up on this matter and found that one person had said that they place the watch on little bit higher on the wrist so I tried that and it seemed to work and now I'm getting my score. Hope this helps 🤗Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S9+, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

Is anyone else on this thread using the app on your phone to tell Fitbit you’re going to bed? I found when I stopped doing that, my sleep score returned. Not sure why it would work one way and not the other, but that’s what worked for me. Good luck!

I’ve seen that one, glad it worked for you. I never used that feature, it always recorded mine automatically when it was working.

It’s not recording a sleep score and it is tracking other sleep data but last night it didn’t. I’ve restarted several times I’ve deleted and reloaded the app. And still nothing

Mine's been ok for a while - but this morning it did the weirdest thing ever.  I had a sleep score and sleep stages, but the end time was inaccurate so I attempted to adjust it - and all the stages & the score disappeared.  Now all I see is asleep / restless / awake.  So what on earth is that?  Clearly the data was there, and now all of a sudden it no longer appears in the app.

Fitbit - do you ever intend to provide any information or clarification on why the sleep stages do not show up?  Clearly it has to do with how the data is manipulated, given my score was there this morning and then disappeared.  Perhaps let users know what parameters need to be followed to reliably get a sleep score.  The deafening silence on this thread is not looking good.

100%agree...i have data but no sleep scores. My data has been inconsistent
since day one and I've only had my Fitbit Versa to for a week or so. It
also says that it tracked the restlessness and awake but then the Dana
underneath it says 0 hours Restless 0 hours awake at cetera but it clearly
shows up in the graph. Something is afoot and solutions would be great!

Mine has been giving me a sleep score for weeks now. I do not hit the + and
do tell I am going go sleep. I just go to bed and in the morning I go into
the app and sync and my score comes up.

This is one of the 10 most common suggestions; all of which do not work, at least not for me.

Forgive me if someone has already posted this, but I FINALLY got an answer from support that fixed my sleep score problem! When I did the update on February 1st, my heart rate monitor got turned off. I still showed the heart rate on the app, but it didn't dawn on me that it never changed, even during tennis practice. Anyway, support (after ten or so emails) finally found that my heart rate monitor was turned off. I turned it back on and woke this morning to a sleep score, sleep stages, and different heart rate.

I have exactly the same problem did any one replied to you?

1st check if your heart rate monitor is on on the watch.

2 reboot the watch

3 check again if heart rate is on.

For me the reboot of the watch fixed it. You only get a sleep score if the heart rate is getting recorded

Hope that helps

Yes. What worked for me was to turn it off and on about 10 times and reboot
the app. It’s worked since then no issues

No sleep score for over 3 weeks. Tried everything. Factory reset, reboot, log in and out, nothing works. Have heartrate turn on. Never used the start sleep function. Worked good upto March 9.

On chat for over 10 minutes. Kept telling me the sleep score is only with premium service. Bull **ahem**. Wife has same watch and it works fine. I've tried everything. Factory reaset 3 times. Reboot about 10 times. Deleted program twice. Nothing works after March update. Might just have to try to get fixed under warranty.
