Versa 2 - Pulse readings exist from when I wasn't wearing my watch!

Since purchasing my Versa 2, I've encountered a few instances where the watch is displaying pulse readings for periods when I wasn't wearing my watch.  In both cases, the pulse reading recorded is really high for me -- 200bpm (first case) 185 (second case).  When I saw the readings, I was shocked...but when checking the time(s) associated with the readings, I realized that I was in the shower at the gym and not wearing my watch.

Has anyone else encountered something like this?  If so, any suggestions?  My gut feeling is to just turn the watch off when I take my shower and then turn it back on when I put the watch back on.

Thanks in advance!

@davegutberlet Welcome!  Have you tried wiping down the sensor on the back?  Have you tried to restart?  Hold down the left button on your Versa 2 for at least 7 seconds.
