Versa 2 Questions - new to Fitbit. (Syncing & swimming)

I am considering getting my daughter a Versa 2. She does a lot of sports and is on a swim team. She will not have the phone or ipad that the watch is synced to during these times. Will it still track everything and be able to be seen in the app once synced back home? 

also - I know there have been many questions and concerns about swim tracking. I am not concerned about the on watch display while swimming but will I be able to see how many meters and duration she swam once the Versa 2 syncs with device again after the workout is over?

Hello @TexasBlue27 in principle yes to both questions. Although since Versa 2 does not have gyroscope the accuracy on the distance swam could be a bit off.

Are you sure she can swim with a watch? I gifted my son (in a swimming team too) a dedicated swimming watch but he could never use (due to team safety rules) and it's still in a box.
