Versa 2 Screen popped off -any idea how to fix?

Hi - Has this happened to anyone where the versa screen popped off? I was sleeping and felt a slight shock on my wrist (similar to static shock when you take out laundry out of a dryer) .  I looked at my watch and the screen popped off and the screen was dark.  The watch  was  already a replacement back in November when the watch just stopped working and it was still under warranty.  And now within 5 months, I have another issue with the Versa 2.   I lost all my data for the weekend and when I contacted Support, they informed it is no longer under warranty and here is a discount on your next watch.  Very disappointing.

 

1) I am not sure if I want to invest anymore in FitBit smart watches if this is a constant issue. Not sure why FitBit will  not take responsibility of reoccurring issues with their customers.

2) I just want my watch fixed or replaced so I can continue with my tracking and workouts.  I have been a member for years and would hate to lose all my data and history switching to another platform. If anyone knows how to fix this issue of Versa screen or replacement of the screen, please let me know.  

3) I am sharing this to warn people from Versa 2 watches based on my experience and level of support and resolution.

My screen came loose two nights ago.  It didn't completely pop off as it was still connected by "ribbons" to the "microchip," or whatever.  Still, I couldn't get it to stay in place.  Mine is a couple of years old, though.  Right now, I have it connected to the band on the top and bottom with small pieces of duct tape.  It seems to be working, although it makes a strange buzzing sound with any notifications.  Also, I don't know how accurate my information is anymore.

I was about to order the Versa 3 as a replacement when I read a review by someone who said his (Versa 3) screen popped off after only a month.

I'm sorry I don't have any solution for you.  It seems no one else does, either.

I have the same problem. I tried pressing, gluing nothing works. Does anyone know how to fix it?
