Hi.
I took the gamble and tried to update my Versa 2. It’s been stuck at the same progress for 3 hours now. It reached the first «dot» in the logo then stopped.
Is there any way to stop the update or is the device «bricked»?

@Skrotnis, welcome to our Fitbit Community and congratulations on your new Versa 2. I would like to follow up and help you with the firmware update issue that your watch is experiencing. By the way, thank you for providing a picture of your Versa.
I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, run the firmware update again and see if the update gets completed.

Hi, and thanks for the welcome @JuanJoFitbit.
I got help last night from twitter support that walked me through factory reset, and got the firmware installed. It didn't fix my touch screen issue tho, so it has been returned for service today to confirm the fault, and see if it can be fixed or if i need to get a replacement unit.
I needed to do the button-based factory reset. since i was unable to enter the menu while it was stuck on the update screen.
Hold the back button until the update bar disappears wait for the fitbit logo reappear and disappear again.
Then release the button for 1 second and hold it until you feel a vibration.
Then the reset was initiated and i was able to get the update though on my third attempt.
