Versa 2: Unable to connect to Spotify

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Samsung Galaxy S8 recently upgraded to latest software. Now Fitbit Versa 2 is unable to connect to Spotify. Receiving a message "no internet connection. Make sure your phone is connected, then sync your device using the Fitbit mobile app". I have synced my smartphone and Versa several times successfully and also restarted my smartphone. Bluetooth and GPS are both turned on as required to Sync. Spotify is also turned on and functioning.

I am running Android version 9. Any ideas on what the issue is and how to resolve? Your help is appreciated!

I would also like to mention that I also receive the message on Versa 2 "make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on, then sync your device using the Fitbit mobile app". As mentioned Bluetooth is on and my smartphone syncs successfully with Versa 2.

The issue could be because the phone is very new and they need time to develop it

Not sure if anyone on this thread still has the issue but I had the exact same problem, posted on the forums in a new question and got a quick answer:

Logging out of Spotify and logging back + a quick uninstall/reinstall of the Fitbit Spotify app fixed it right away!

Hope this manages to help someone else too!
