Versa 2 Wallet, what to do with card number for Maestro?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I tried to add my Maestro card to the Wallet in my Versa 2 but that is impossible.

The reason is that a Maestro Card has no card number as explained in the Wallet app.

And without entering a Card Number, you cannot proceed.

A Maestro Card has a Bank Account Number but that does not work.

It also has a pass number of 4 digits but that is NOT VALID.

It has a security code of 3 digits, also NOT VALID.

My bank (Rabo Bank) supports FitBit Wallet !

(Clicking on supporting banks link in Wallet always results in a 404 error......)

I bought the Versa 2 because of the Wallet supported by my bank, if it cannot used I sure will return it.

Your bank is supported, but that card is not. It is an on-line only debit card and the way it functions to authorize a transaction is unlike other debit or credit cards. You can get a better understanding by taking a look at this article .

Thanks Patruns,

My card is supported.

Yes, it's a debit card indeed.

The 'online' that Wiki talks about is also true.

But online means that during payment there is an online connection with the bank and the money is immediately transferred from your bank account to the shop's account (at any bank).

We use it in The Netherlands pay for everything at a physical location.

For online shopping we use Ideal online transfer or Credit Card.

After Googling and calling my bank, I found out that you need to contact your bank (online) and find a 16 digit number (like on a Credit Card) which is not on the card.

In the FitBit app you need to enter this number.

The FitBit app is very confusing about this.

My problem was is that I started to configure the wallet with my  company card.

Company cards are not (yet) supported.

I can only add my private card.

The same goed for credit cards.
