Versa 2 Won’t Sync with iPad

I have constant problems with syncing my Versa 2 with an iPad. Sync works reasonably well with iPhone but doesn’t like my iPad Mini at all. The iPad appears to update only when the watch has updated with my iPhone. Not good. 

on another subject the Fitbit interface with iPad is terrible. The screen size is not right and it looks clunky. Maybe Fitbit doesn’t want Apple users?

@MikeyJR   If you get notifications from your iPhone, then your Fitbit makes a tight Bluetooth bond between your Fitbit and your iPhone.  You need to turn your notifications off in order to sync with your iPad.  Help article.   All iPad users agree that the interface is terrible.  The Fitbit app is designed for the iPhone screen proportions.  Fitbit has no plans to release a separate iPad app.  Sorry.
