I have been using the Fitbit Charge 2 for a couple of years, worked great, sleep was registered perfectly as was my heartrate. I bought a Versa 2 last week and it doesn't register my sleep / heart rate properly. It only has one sensor at the back where the Charge 2 has two. I have a wrist tattoo and I think that might be the reason why the Versa 2 doesn't register my heart rate / sleep properly. Is anyone else having the same issue? Can it be fixed? I have a chronic illness and heart rate registration and sleep registration are the most important to me. I bought this more expensive watch and it doesn't do what it should ...

get these here in the UK they're called sticky dots I think in the US they're called epoxy stickers
I had the same problem my Blaze and Ionic worked fine on my tattoos but the versa 2 wouldn't... however stick one of these over the diode on the back works perfectly and my wrist is heavily tattooed....you will have to take the dot off to charge
You can get them on Amazon or any hardware store

Thanks! I received these stickers with Dome ikea furniture so I could stick one on right away. It seems to work. Normally it has trouble finding my heartrate and now its registering constantly. I am very hopefull for the registration of my sleep tonight, thank you 🙏

Also I get a pack of around 20 as the dot needs to be replaced every time you charge your versa ... I'm not sure how they react in water I find they stay on when washing my hands or washing up but I don't wear my Fitbit in the shower/bath .. anyway really glad they're working it drove me mad trying to find a solution but thanks to these little dots I get a constant HR reading and accurate sleep scores
Enjoy your versa!
