Versa 2 and Strava App not working on the watch

Is there any news on when the strava app will sync and display routes on the versa 2 watch? As It shows on the strava app on the phone but no the app on the watch.

When I select the app on the watch it keeps saying link account but the account is linked as its proven by myself using the exercise and walk function on the watch and once its finished strava app on the phone is updated but just not on the watch.

Anyone got any ideas ? I have done the usual uninstall and install and re approve etc but get the same results

Thank you for the information provided and for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2 before contacting us.

Please be aware there are 2 steps to connect Strava with your Fitbit watch. The first step is connecting your two accounts by following these instructions.

The second step is the following:

- From the Fitbit app tap the Versa 2 icon > Apps > My Apps
- Tap the gear icon next to Strava > Authorize
- Login to your Strava account > Authorize

Please keep in mind the maps of your activities won't be shown immediately once Strava is selected, but it is necessary selecting each activity in order to access them. On your Versa 2 you will be able to see the last 10 workouts. For information about what data will be transferred between your accounts please check out this post. The following activities won't be synchronized to Strava:

• Non-GPS activities 
• Previously completed activities
• Duplicate activities—that is, if you already recorded an activity with Strava, a Fitbit activity that occurs at the same time won't sync.

@Emgoudie   The Strava app (for the watch) was removed from the Fitbit App Gallery very recently.  No explanation is available.  I'm not sure if it will come back.
