Versa 2 app not showing Google Play apps for me to get notifications

I have a Samsung S9 plus. I have the latest update of the fitbit app and firmware version on my phone. But I do not see any of my apps, eg WhatsApp, when I go into the Enable Notifications option of the app.

 

I also noticed that although I have the fitbit app set to send me alerts if I get a call or message I don't get any. 

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled the fitbit app and cleared the cache but same problem. 

 

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Franno - just to be sure, in the Fitbit App, you did click on

  • the profile photo
  • device photo 
  • Notifications and also
  • App notifications for individual apps?
