Versa 2 appears as offline on Alexa

my Alexa app says that fitbit is offline. How do i fix this?

Swipe to the left until you see Settings. Tap that.

Scrollto find Left button Tap it

Choose Alexa . This should change its status to online

That article was not helpful... says nothing about fixing an “offline” Alexa reading.

I fixed it briefly using the Fitbit app. It lasted for a few days but it's offline again. Ideas?

It's been bugging me, too. 

From what I can make out the fitbit app must be running else the device shows as offline in the Alexa app.

This seems to work for me.

I just spent an hr with chat Fitbit and nothing resolved. Basically you can’t use Fitbit with Alexa. So don’t try

Same issue for me. Everything else is online but my Versa. It has shown online once since I got it over a month ago.
