Versa 2 asks me to download the Fitbit app

During an activity my versa 2 died. I thought it was the battery. But after charging the screen only showed the fitbit sign and the message: "to start download the fitbit app". The light at the back is red instead of green.

I have done an fitbit update from my phone, removed the app and put it back on to reconnect my Versa but it does not work. What else can i do to make it work? 😩

@Diana82 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I appreciate the time spent trying to get your Versa 2 fixed since it only asks to download the Fitbit app and the light at the back is red.

Please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, try setting up your watch from scratch and see if the issues get fixed.

Hope this helps.
