Versa 2 band won't secure.

So my versa 2's band keeps coming undone, not where you can detach it and replace it, but simply where the size can be adjusted.

The thing that holds the extra strap down after adjusting the size never stays on and slides around, so I have this long flap that's always out and it causes my Fitbit to completely come undone and fall off at times. 

Is there any way around this?? Or maybe I can purchase a band that has some more grip to it? I'd much appreciate any feedback!!
