Versa 2 battery drain 2023

Ok noticed since the start of August 2023, my battery isn't lasting 6 days. Now before you all jump on with trying things I have done them all. From restarting my watch to fully draining battery then giving a full two hour charge. To turn off all features would mean it's no longer a smart watch, just a over priced watch. It was given to me Christmas 2022 so not been using long. It doesn't have water damaged. So any other suggestions before I jump ship and go for a completely different watch. And I'm on Android Samsung S21 ultra so phone isn't that outdated.

Thanks in advance.

@Caz83 I hope you still like your watch. But tell me how long does the battery last? I thought they sayd 5 days for a Versa 2. I recalculate that to 96 hours, say 100 hours so an average drain of 1% per hour is very nice.

I've made a clockface that just checks the battery drain. My watch isn't lasting for 6 days either. According to my own calculations it's about 73 hours. (On a Sense of 1.5  years)  And yes, this watch only tells the time. But it's for testing your battery.

But you can see if an app drains the battery.  For Instance:
The exersize app needs GPS and that drains a battery. Versa 2 doesn't have GPS, but instead uses the GPS from the phone and keeps continous connection via Bluetooth, which drains the battery.
There's an app thet lets you use your watch as a flashlite. That sertainly drains yor battery, because the more the pixels on your watch are on , the more there's battery drain.
So you can tell if it's an app that drains your battery.

You also can see how much a clockface drains your battery. Especially at night the drain should be less than 1% per hour. I've made several clock faces  and never found one thet drains the battery too much.

What clockface are you using? And did you try another clockface?

My clockface for testing the battery: https://gallery.fitbit.com/details/f60d8089-8833-4561-82aa-4809687c7f8e  Just try it for a day.

Thanks. I have reverted back to the standard clock face. I am only getting the average 36 hours per charge and this is with everything turned off. Have now started looking at other watches that aren't fitbit, have lost faith in them. Have found information on the update and this isn't just effecting myself and fitbit don't seem to be interested in resolving the issue.

Sorry to hear that. I'll try one more thing ( or 2) . Do you have snore-detection on? It's a bad battery drainer.

And AOD (always on display) must also be turned off.

I have none of those features turned on. The main battery drain is since the update and Google took over. I have now lost all faith in them. Don't get me wrong thank you for trying to help.

I am also having the same problem,  as well as my daughter, need to check with my daughter in law to see if she is experiencing problems as well.  My niece has a different smart watch with another brand and is not having problems with hers. Maybe time for a change.  Looking at all the comments,  many have started this past month,  August. So it is not just a fluke.  They have changed something in their system for all these problems to suddenly start happening.
