I have only owned my Versa 2 for about a week and was very happy with it, but I yesterday I charged the device up in the evening and woke up today to no sleep data nor steps since midnight. The screen was was blank and unresponsive so I placed it on the charger and it is now charging from flat.
Having just switched back from Samsung to Fitbit because I wanted the better battery life, it's extremely disappointing to experience this just one week into Versa 2 ownership. I am logging this message now in case I need to request a replacement under warranty if it happens again.

@JonathanS Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Versa 2's battery draining quickly. Has this happened again? If it has then try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.
Let me know how it goes.

I just woke up to my Versa 2 being dead and when I synced yesterday it was 64%. I will try your suggestions and hope it doesn't happen again. Mine is only a few months old.

I am having the same problem. My Versa 2 was holding a charge for at least 3 days or more then about 2 weeks ago it started being drained withing 24 hours. I have tried the steps listed on a document provided in another response and have verified I have the latest firmware. I am hoping someone can provide help................

Did all the steps listed and the problem has not been solved for me. I can be at 64% before bed and it is dead every morning when I wake up. Overall the battery drains in less than 24 hours.
