Versa 2 battery drains fast

I just got a smart fitness watch for Christmas but am dismayed at the battery life (advertised 7 days, getting 1-2 days in reality with no bells and whistles).

I am considering returning it and getting the Versa 2 instead. Could anyone who has a Versa 2 and uses it in a "regular" mode (ie not minimal use with most things turned off) please tell me how your experience has been? I do not listen to music through the watch, nor would I use things like Alexa or Fitbit pay. I am however interested in all day HR, sleep tracking, etc. (it has been suggested to me on the "other" watch forum to turn off many of the basic features and that seems pointless to me - why buy a watch with features you cant use without running out the battery?)

I should mention that I am also considering the switch to the Versa 2 because I had a Fitbit previously for years and switching over at Christmas made me realize how much I wished I could have kept my years and years of data from the One, and the Charge 2. Plus I HATE the app compared to the Fitbit app. I really am torn.

I'm also sorry to hear that the battery of your Fitbit Versa 2 is draining fast even though you have tried to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums. I totally understand how you feel about this.

I'd like you to try the tips that are listed in this help article. This article contains tips that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. If these tips are all already covered, let me know also and I'll be glad to follow up and assist you accordingly.

Thank you for your reply, JuanJoFitbit, but I am afraid I was unclear because it isn't that the Versa 2 battery drains fast. I actually meant the "other" watch I got for Christmas drains quite fast, and I was wondering how the Versa 2 compares. I am still using the "other" watch (not sure i can say the other company name), but am torn and am thinking of returning it and getting the Versa 2 instead.

I was just looking for someone who had experience with the Versa 2 (and perhaps with the other watch I have now), to give me their opinion on the Versa 2. It seems most people are happy with it. I would just like to ask some specific questions about it.
