Versa 2 battery drains rapidly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve had my Versa 2 for about 7 months now and never had an issue til this week when my battery suddenly started draining in less than 24 hours. I restarted it last night and it did a firmware update, which I thought was probably the problem. However, I had gone to bed with 100% and woke up with 63%. I don’t know why it would suddenly be draining so quickly when I’d never had any trouble with it before.

Same here, my Versa 2 was fully charged at 4pm and was at zero by 9pm. I updated the app, have restarted the watch. In the last 24 hours my 13 month old watch has become a brick. 😞

Me too. My battery was fine this morning and dead now. Just started this week. Had my fitbit for 1 year and it is just barely outside of the warranty.

Thanks Guy_ I have done this, let's see what happens. Regardless of the outcome I am grateful for your help.

Thanks mine seems better today. Charged it yesterday and I'm at 91% now, which is my normal battery life. I think it drained so fast yesterday because I was listening to music on the watch, and I think I forgot to turn it off when I was done with it. So it was playing music and that drained the battery.

I appreciate the answer and I had hope but I’ve tried these several times and my fitbit battery still drains in less than a day.

@Jbiggard  Make sure you don't have any devices with Bluetooth on and you restarted the watch after charging fully by doing a Shutdown.

If the battery still drains and you have changed to a default Fitbit clock face it's probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you with a replacement under warranty..

Yep -  I am less than 15 days out of warranty and this happens.  Not happy.  Has Fitbit identified the problem -  and more a fix.  ?

I was 100% at noon and at 8 it’s at 10%. ,

@DHW21113  As it's not a watch problem the warranty is not relevant. Have you deployed the workarounds suggested earlier to resolve the issue pending a fix.
