Versa 2 battery is draining quickly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Battery all of a sudden dropped from about 60 % to 0 and turned off.

Checked all is up today. Trying to charge it again right now to see what happens. But any suggestions?

Hi there, @Jeanne88AsH. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. I understand where your concern is coming from.

As you may know, your Versa 2 battery should last up to 6 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

I did a factory reset, switched the watch face, and all other recommendations and I'm still having the same issue. My watch was fully charged this morning and it's already at 23% and I didn't exercise today.

Same issue has been happening with my Versa 2 for the past month, it won’t hold a charge for more than a day. This morning, it went from 100% to 35% in an hour. IN. AN. HOUR. It seems to be an ongoing problem (among a whole list of other issues) and the recommendations offer no real solution other than contact their support team and be swindled into buying another one if you’re past the warranty period.

It sucks the problem started about a month ago for me too. I've only had my watch for just a little of a year. You would think, if everyone is having the same issue they would try and fix it. I'm thinking of switching to a different brand watch now. I'm very disappointed in Fitbit.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the issue gets better. I charged my Versa overnight and it wouldn’t turn on this morning. I followed the troubleshooting tips from other threads of Fitbits not charging and NOTHING has worked. The Universe must have sensed my frustration and the Garmin I ordered last week came in this afternoon lol. The Versa was the third and last Fitbit I’ll ever own.
