Versa 2 battery life not lasting

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm having many issues with my Versa 2 and it's disappointing.

To begin, lately my Versa 2 has not been lasting more than about 12 hours. From a 100% charge in the morning, I'm down to 20% in the evening day one. I have a sleep mode set for the Versa when I'm sleeping and I do not use many apps or the always on display. My Versa used to last the full 4+ days with similar use.

Next, my Versa will not connect to my phone or my Alexa app via Bluetooth. I have disconnected and attempted to rediscover the Versa to no success. I factory reset my Versa, restarted my phone, ensured all apps were updated and still no connection success. My wife has the same Versa 2 bought new at the same time from Amazon and does not have the same issues.

I cannot use voice commands for Alexa, but my wife can, even when my Versa was connected through the Alexa app. I think i need a new Versa, does anyone have any advice?

Hi @Matt77, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. I'd like to prioritize the issues you're experiencing and first, troubleshoot the battery life situation. Let me share with you that the battery of our Versa 2 was designed to last 5 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.

After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations. This article includes as restart process that will refresh the device's performance.

I'll be here if further assistance is still needed.
