This problem is rearing its head again for me. My Versa 2 has been working fine all year and running latest firmware (71.6.19) and latest iOS app(3.35 (1007)) on latest iOS (14.2) on iPhone 11 Pro. The app was updated on Dec 2nd 2020
Normally get 4-5 days between charge, now battery is draining ~20% per hour and I cant get it stop. I know this is the app since I can shutdown the iPhone and normal battery consumption resumes.
Any ideas? (Pls dont tell me to switch off location services, or try reboot etc..)

Hello @matgra, it's nice to see another post from you here in the Community Forums, welcome back.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Let me share with you that the battery of our Versa 2 was designed to last 5 days but this also depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.
After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Ricardo that isn't a response.
This happened in march this year and was an absolute pain until it was patched and now it's happening again. Between these bad updates, my device gets about five days lifespan as you mention, and now suddenly, I'm getting about 6 hours per full charge. Please escalate this issue.

I'm sorry to know that you're experiencing the same issue, my previous post was a response for another user. I was informed by our Customer Support team that they provided you assistance on December 8th with your Fitbit device, that said, please contact them back if you require further assistance or if you have questions about the outcome of your case with them.
I'll be here if you need anything else.

Thanks - I know the battery it’s designed to work for 5 days...it does quite happily for long periods of time between app updates! I can literally switch my iPhone off and the VERSA will run down very, very slowly. So if you mean continuing to use the Versa as I have been for many months when you say “depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device”, I’m not really following your suggestion?? There is definitely something up with the IOS App. I can understand software QA can be really difficult for all the staggering variations of solution out there but running latest iOS, iPhone less an a year old, and latest firmware shouldn’t be a stretch..... I’ve been through this mess 4 times in total now over the last few years....it shouldn’t be this hard to get software polling + Bluetooth + GPS to work.... The help articles only really cater for non-technical people to figure out where the problem lies....I have read them all and tried everything... the only thing left to test is the code...make it open source and I’ll give it go for you...sigh.
