Hi @Theo123 - while it is possibly a battery issue it is more likely a features issue.

With firmware updates new features get added, and if used, can consume extra battery, not to forget bugs can also get added, so before chucking it out check the list of features [some may not apply to your watch] How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

thanks but this is reply is how to extend the battery charge not the actual life of this battery or fitbit. I cannot believe after nearly 2 years i have to bin my fitbit and replace!!! this is shocking!!! the product is not sustainable in any form and cannot be recycled

Thanks for your reply -  so are you of understanding that a fitbit versa should live longer than 2 years?

I got mine for over 2years now, some times it gets buggy but it still works I find that you need to keep an eye on the contacts of the watch and charger to make sure a good charge gets to the watch.

thanks, that’s good to know. But fitbit even state that the battery will only last c2 years. In hindsight i probably haven’t charged carefully enough or helped to preserve the battery as i just presumed you could replace them! it does always charges to 100% but just doesn’t hold for 24h
I don’t have anything other than alarms and notification on it to use battery and have disabled the reminders to move. In a bid to pro long it’s life.

@Theo123  -  thanks, where did you find that the battery only lasts 2 years?

My Versa is nearly 2 years old and gets over 4 days and that's using the reminders to move [from the SimpleClockPro watch face].

In your case it may be a configuration issue, a current firmware or App issue, compatibility issue or the way the watch is used and charged, more than a battery problem, unless the watch is faulty.

Although not all the issues may apply to your watch have a look at How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life. in case there is an option you may have missed.

So can you confirm how long fitbit expects the battery to live for? (not hold charge)

Thanks for getting back to us and for your question @Theo123. There's no an estimated time for battery life,

As I mentioned before, it depends of usage and other factors and it's different for every user.
