I updated my versa 2 f/w a little over a month ago. As soon as it turned 4 years old I went from going through 20% of my battery per day to 82%? Are these issues related? How do I rollback my firmware? It is odd to me that as soon as my watch turned four the battery basically died with no fore warning. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have very basic settings and alerts with low traffic for sms/calls between my phone and watch.
Thanks, Dave

Hi @SunsetRunner four years is a pretty good life for the Versa 2. Remember, you're still tracking you activity and keeping time with it, not to mention charging it up. These batteries can't be replaced and they do reach a time where they begin to fade quickly before dying altogether. Might be time to get a new Fitbit. You can't roll back a firmware.

Hi @SunsetRunner - there are generally reasons for a sudden change, such as a firmware update, or change in features, or a bug, especially if only at night.
As a first approach try restarting the device How do I restart my Fitbit device?
If that doesn't fix it, are you using an SpO2 clock face which is very active at night, if so, and anyway, change to another clock face in case the current one is causing a problem. How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
A failing battery will normally show as a quick discharge initially after being fully charged then normal slower discharge.
Here is a link to things that cause quick discharge, may be not all apply to a Versa 2. How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

I've had this happen to mine too. And with a lot of looking around. Just about everyone who has a versa 2 this has happened to as soon as they updated the firmware. It's like they purposely rolled out firmware that fried our device to try and get us to buy a newer device.
