Versa 2 battery short life

My battery drains and needs charging about every 2 days.It used to need charging once a week.I’ve dimmed the face and it’s set on manual display. What can I do? Do I need a new battery?

Hi @Cathyjob  as these devices age, the batteries do begin to die. I'm not sure how many times they can be charged before they begin to show signs of aging, like you're experiencing. I have a power bank and was told that it usually lasts 300 charges, but I never count them. As for your Versa 2 or any Fitbit, the battery isn't replaceable. You could find a place that sells the batteries, but you'd need a steady hand, good eye and the proper tools. You'd also lose any water resistance since it would no longer be factory sealed.

My brand new Versa 2 (the second one) didn't hold a full charge for even a day!!! I sent it back and got a Charge 5. Set it up on Monday, and it still has 75% charge!

How are you liking the Charge 5 watch?

So far, so good. Just got a low-battery notification a few minutes ago (4:00 Friday). The only thing I don't like is that the screen is smaller than the Versa 2, but the print is in bright colors.
