WOW that’s wild! My Versa 2 battery suddenly got nuked about 3-4 days ago - went from holding a charge for 4 days to barely 6 hours. Turned off the Bluetooth on my phone as suggested, and low and behold, it’s been an hour and I haven’t lost 15% battery. THANK YOU!
FitBit, y’all need to get this fixed. Do better.

Also same questions have been asked on customer support call. I have reset, reinstalled, everything yet it's not solving any issue.

Hi Liliya,

Per your request, I have an iPhone 11, running iOS 14.4.2.

As a data point - I went all day today without my phone’s Bluetooth turned on and my FitBit maybe dropped 8% in 8 hours. Expected efficiency. Turned on Bluetooth to sync my daily stats, and it has already drained 5% in 15 minutes. I have also noticed when Bluetooth is on and connected, the watch is a bit laggy in its tap/swipe/side button responses. Turned off Bluetooth and it’s at normal response efficiency.

Seems like Bluetooth is doing more than just killing my battery, it's making the whole watch sluggish.

I had the same problem. I restored to factory settings and let the fitbit upgrade. All seems fine now.

Having same issue suddenly with battery draining.  Had charged Saturday...was dead Sunday afternoon.  Charged around 4:00 p.m. to 98% and it was fully drained at 12:17 a.m.  Have done the recommended uninstall fitbit app....reinstall and phone off and back on.  I have an iphone 12 and running 14.6 software version.  Hoping this takes care of the issue

Turning off the Bluetooth has worked for me as well but I just really feel that we shouldn’t have to be doing that. This has been going on for awhile and with so many people saying there’s a problem, I would like to see more effort for it to be fixed.

Rev’d to 14.6 no change.   Turning blue tooth off was a non starter,  kills my earbuds/ mic.
contacted support,  unit is being returned …puts me without until receipt and resolution.  Not happy about gap in service and likely will miss the Fathers Day sale if they provide me a voucher or something.   All they said is watch my email for next steps ( after they receive ).

sigh

Can’t even contact customer support via the app right now.  If I have to exchange it will be the second time.  So disappointing as I love my Versa in every other way.

This!  It stays charged if I turn off Bluetooth - but then that takes away features that are part of the reason I have this watch.  Very frustrating and cannot even contact customer support via the app.
